ORLANDO, Fla. - Kobe Bryant won the scoring record, the MVP Kevin Durant, and the West got the win - barely.
Even after the duo was crammed points, the NBA All-Star Game to be a defensive game.
Bryant scored 27 points a bloody past Michael Jordan as a leader in career scoring game, Durant had 36 in MVP performance, and the interception Blake Griffin password LeBron James set the Western Conference 152-149 victory Sunday night over the Middle.
Bryant Dwyane Wade shook his hard slap on his face and he was still on the floor to say something to James, after throwing a pass in ZIP files.
"You know, you have some of the best competitors in the ground at the same time," said James. "Not just me and Kobe, but D-Wade and Durant and (Carmelo Anthony) and (Chris Paul), and the rest of the guys. We all want to win, and he went up to the last minute or last second."
James and the middle cut a deficit of 21 points at one in the last seconds, but they were not able to move forward. James had finished 36 points and other heat-star Wade with a triple-double.
"It was fun," said Durant. "This is the kind of All-Star Game is the look you want."
Griffin scored 22 points for the West, who called 88 points in the first half, a record-setting All-Star. But he won won the game with his defense, is James's, when the medium a chance to tie in the final seconds had.
